Flutist Kelly Herrmann has performed with the Memphis Symphony, Arkansas Symphony, Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale, Orchestra of the Americas, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and Luna Nova Music. She has enjoyed a truly international career - her performing and teaching artist pursuits have brought her to China, Italy, Cuba, India, Mexico, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Chile. She earned her bachelor’s degree in flute performance from McGill University and completed a performance certificate at the Bard College Conservatory of Music, studying with Tara Helen O’Connor. Kelly earned her master’s degree at the University of Memphis, where she served as the graduate assistant in the flute studio of Elise Blatchford. Kelly was also a 2019 cohort member of the Global Leaders Program, a nine-month Executive Graduate Certificate program in Social Entrepreneurship, Cultural Agency, Teaching Artistry, Civic Leadership, and Organizational Management.
