Blvck Hippie is a sad boy indie rock band born out of Josh Shaw’s dorm room his Junior Year of college. Named after a nickname he got from his mom, the band Blvck Hippie combines dark lyrics about lost love and grief, with dreamy guitars and stylistic drums to create “VHS” inspired rock. Made up of Guitar and Vocalist Josh Shaw, with Casey Rittinger on Drums, Tyler Marberry on Bass, and Kathy Zhou on Keys.
