Karissa Walhof is twenty years old and grew up in Rock Valley, Iowa. She has been involved in music all her life, learning how to sing, play the piano, guitar, and violin, and write her own songs at a young age. She has been playing, singing, and writing ever since and has been even more active in using these gifts within the past couple years through leading worship and being a part of various worship teams and bands. She is currently the worship director at Pioneer Church in downtown Memphis and a student at Visible Music College studying Worship Leadership. She loves learning and growing here and tries to take as many other opportunities as she is given to share her love of music. Her favorite songs to write are those that tell stories, that others can relate to, that are raw and personal, and that share of her greatest passion and love: God.
